Bread and Water Course
This is a seven session course with Dr. Farhad Shafti, an hour per week. Each session is divided in two parts:
Part One (Bread):
In this part, at every session, one or two common logical fallacies are explained and then examples are given to illustrate how those logical fallacies can lead to misunderstanding some Islamic concepts.
Part Two (Water):
In this part, at every session, a verse of the sura of al-Fatiha is used as an entry to a moral/spiritual discussion. Some practical points are then discussed.
The sessions are designed to last for an hour. An extra 15 to 30 minutes will be added at the end to answer any general questions on Islam and religion.
Sessions timings:
Every Sunday 12:00 - 13:00 (UK time, GMT+1) plus half an hour Q.A. for those interested
Starting: 8th September
Ending: 20th October
