Combining Prayers

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum,

I have to travel around 1.5 hours to 2 hours for my class and the class starts before Maghrib Salah and ends at the time of Isha Salah, so can I combine Maghrib Salah and Isha Salah since I am travelling.

Answer:

Assalamu Alaykum,

Yes you can do this. We know from the Established Sunnah of the prophet (pbuh) as well as hadith that combining prayers was used as a way to bring some flexibility, when reading the prayers on time was impossible or very difficult.
