Etiquette Of Cleanliness

Question:

Dear Sir

Want to ask what way to adopt if one finds one's clothes still slightly wet or moistened with a drop or two of urine even after spending a reasonable time in ensuring that nothing is left in urinary tract to dispose off?

Answer:

If this happens only occasionally and it is reasonably easy to do so then I suggest you clean up before prayers. However if this often happens and therefore it is not reasonably easy to clean up then you may ignore any drops that you may see later. In this case you are facing a hardship that allows you to condone those drops.

Of course common sense and normal principles of cleanness indicate that after a while when you find that your underwear cannot be considered as reasonably clean any more, then you should wash yourself and change your underwear. The definition of ‘reasonably clean’ relies on individuals. In principle this (individual’s judgement/perception) is also how the religion looks at the issue of cleanness.
