Music As a Profession

Question:
Adopting music as a profession. What Quran says about it. Earning money with this profession is it halal. Thank you.

Answer:
Qur'an does not say anything about music being Haram. Please read my earlier answer to a similar question titled Hanging Paintings and Pictures in the House.

Appreciating what I wrote in answering the above question, as long as you do not use music for something that is Haram or against moral values then there is nothing wrong with adopting music as a profession.
