What Ever We Did!

What ever we did, looks so insignificant when thinking about what You deserve.

Yet, so little that we did looks good enough when thinking about how generous You are

We tried to find You, but we noticed You were always there, it was us who were lost.

We tried to hear You, but we realized You were always loud and clear, it was us who were deaf.

Wish we knew what you recorded for us at the end of this month,
Is it 'Accepted'? or is it 'Rejected'?

If it is 'Accepted', then it is all due to Your compassion
and if it is 'Rejected' then it is all due to our weakness

Lord, no matter how big our weakness is, Your compassion is bigger,
So we hope that you have accepted the little that we have done.

Oh God, from this day on, give us a fraction of: Noah's (as) patience, Abraham's (as) faith, Moses's (as) strength, Jesus's (as) purity and Muhammad's (as) morality.

From this day on help us so that:

- Our deeds stay one step ahead of our speech
- Our knowledge becomes enriched by wisdom
- Our heart throws away anything but You

Our Lord, allow us to celebrate this day, not to value any of our acts of worship, but to value the One that we worshiped for.

Help us to have less of 'Me' and more of 'You' from now on

Allow us to consider this day as a new beginning

Allow us to congratulate our brothers and sisters on this day, not to satisfy formalities, but to satisfy You.

Eid Mubarak!
